started.

The day we stopped speaking in acronyms

Between internet, Wi-Fi, TV, landline and mobile, the industry loves to serve you an incomprehensible menu: 'downstream bandwidth', 'technology', 'options', 'conditions', fine print everywhere. You just want it to work — and you end up reading like you're sitting an exam. So we flipped the script: we simplified it, and added some flavor and vitamins.

We didn't wake up one morning saying 'hey, let's invent the internet'. We built on a solid network of skills — over 30 years of experience, top-tier Swiss partners, and strategic alliances that have proven themselves. 2023
Three telecom engineers meet over coffee in Geneva. Common observation: Swiss plans are unreadable, support is offshore, prices are opaque. Someone says 'What if we just did better?'
Jan 2024
Trademark 'hype SWISS' filed. Network agreements negotiated with Swisscom and Salt. The fruit-as-identity idea is born from a Post-it note stuck to a fridge.
Avr 2024
Closed beta with 200 Geneva testers. Satisfaction rate: 96%. NPS: 78. One tester says 'Your Cherry-Hype is the best mobile plan I've ever had.'
Sept 2024
National launch. 5,000 subscribers in 30 days. Press coverage in 12 Swiss media. The mascot (affectionately called 'Hype Bird') goes viral on TikTok.
2025
TV range and Fruity Baskets launch. 40,000 subscribers. The team grows from 3 to 47 people. We open 24/7 support from Geneva.
2026
80,000 active subscribers. Available in 3 French-speaking cantons, Zurich and Basel. 10G fibre in 40 cities. The Grapefruit-Hype basket becomes our bestseller.
